J-term In Turkey
Course: ARTH 218 - The Rise of the City in Europe.
Students traveling to Turkey will learn about the development of the city in ancient times. Special emphasis will be on aspects of the ancient societies which were directly related to urbanization: laws and government, public spaces and architecture, water supply, social structure, defense strategies and the expression of community values through art and literature.
