Central American Culture and Civilization. This study/travel course to San Jose, Costa Rica, will focus on Spanish language and immersion and integrate students into a local language academy based in the suburbs of San Jose. Course includes study of the culture and civilization of Central America from a variety of viewpoints: historical, literary, sociological, anthropological, and political.
