Well, it was a very lazy Friday in the office today. There really wasn't much to do. I organized the script closet according to year and date so that the newest scripts are on the top, easy to access and find. Besides that, the office today was pretty slow. I copied a script of Law and Order SVU for a client's audition and assisted in giving opinon for another client's read for her audition this afternoon. Other than that, I did nothing! My boss is going to be in LA Monday and Tuesday because one of her clients is nominated for a Critics Choice Award. Let's hope she wins!
I find it really interesting that when I arrive in the city around 10:30 every morning, all the doors to the strip clubs are still open for business. That cracks me up for some reason and I just had to share it. However, I love working in the city. It wears on your body though. Just commuting everyday and walking at a hurried pace all the time has made every bone and muscle in my body ache since I've started. However, if that's what it takes to have this amazing experience everyday, then I'm willing to do it. There's something about coming out of the Lincoln Tunnel everynight, looking to my right and seeing the most magical and amazing city in the world all lit up and full of life. There's nothing like it...it truly is the city of dreams!
